Visa Requirements
Single entry tourist visas are available on arrival at Entebbe airport priced at US$50 and at the land borders. We recommend clients obtain them on arrival.
Uganda follows a policy of reciprocity (if your country requires a visa for Ugandans to enter, Uganda will impose the same). Irish nationals do not require visas.
Please note:
Citizens of some countries do not require visa, but will still need to stand in the same line at immigration to have their passports stamped upon arrival (and departure). Citizens of COMESA countries do not require a visa. Some of these countries include Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda. Citizens of the Republic of Ireland do not require a visa.
If any delegates choose to get the visa prior to arrival, they would send their passport to the Embassy for the visa to be stamped in the passport along with the $50 USD. They do not need to send photographs, etc, according to the local representative at the Department of Immigration.
