Pre/Post Event Tours
2 -DAY GORILLA TRACKING TOUR
You will be met by a representative of Thousand Hills Expeditions at your Hotel and then take a leisurely drive north to Ruhengeri.
Then take a tour to the ex-poacher’s village where you will learn more about the traditional methods of fire-making, archery, traditional medicine, and traditional dances among other things.
Dinner and overnight Mountain Gorilla View Lodge
After an early breakfast drive to the park offices.
0700hrs at the park offices, you will be allocated a gorilla group followed by a briefing by your trackers/guides.
This will be followed by a drive to where the trails start and your track begins.
Upon sighting the gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical hour before
returning to the base where your driver will be waiting for you.
Lunch at Mountain Gorilla view lodge.
Afternoon drive back to Kigali where you will be dropped at your hotel.
